2016 Montana Annual Fall Conference - On-Line Registration

"Brick by Brick"
September 28-30, 2016 - Fairmont Hot Springs Resort - Fairmont, MT

Brick by Brick: The 2016 AIA Montana Annual Fall Conference will, literally and figuratively, explore the process and craft of assembling the pieces and parts that become the built expression of that initial vision. From assembling the right team to telling the story through design, each project we undertake is a unique set of collaborations, explorations, research, selections, detailing and implementations. The ever increasing complexity of those visions require skills in organization and a reliance on many specialized team members. The trend for an integrated approach to design and decision making is resulting in some of the most inspiring projects of our time.

The 2016 AIA Montana Annual Fall Conference will introduce attendees to perspectives outside our typical view of architecture. Other project team members will share their unique view of project success, including:
  • "The Owners view of the value of architecture"
  • "Where is the Ďartí in architecture"
  • "The integrated design round table"
  • "Decision making in very complex projects"

The 2016 AIA Montana Fall conference will feature inspiring project team leaders; commercial/industry presentations; and a return of the Brick in Architecture awards presented by the Spokane Masonry Promotion Group. The Annual Awards reception and banquet will move to the new NorthWestern Energy Building in Uptown Butte, celebrating achievements by Montana AIA firms. A variety exhibitors sharing current product and service information will be located at the conference center. All of which should provide insight and answers for Students, AITís, Architects and Firms as they take their own career paths in this amazing profession of ARCHITECTURE.

The 2016 AIA Montana Conference was held September 28-30,
